About Us
GreenKonnect is a human-powered search engine for the green building industry. Search for Products, Projects, Companies and People. Help us grow our results by reviewing a Product, adding yourself, connecting to or adding a Project, or adding a Company.
We built GreenKonnect for three reasons:
- Bringing knowledge to the People – There is vast information about the green building industry spread across the Internet and other mediums, and specific, relevant information isn’t always easy to find. We believe it should be easy to build green.
- Creating a better ecosystem – As a community, we can grow the industry through openness by sharing stories of success, failure, favorite products and more.
- Putting a stop to greenwashing – We are building a unique feedback system to reliably verify the claims of Products.
To many this might look like a social network, but that that is not its primary purpose. Think of it more as a searchable network of everything in your industry. You can help us grow this knowledge network by connecting with Projects you’ve worked on. Connecting Products to those Projects and giving feedback on them. Ultimately, this creates a rich network of information that makes it easy to find and discover.
We’ve built this service as a hassle-free way to find and share info. Ultimately, we believe this will help remove inefficiencies from your workflow by connecting you with the information you need quickly and easily, as well as sharing feedback with your colleagues.
This is just the beginning of the site. Right now we are very hard at work on building out the Products directory to make it the most complete and detailed directory of green building products anywhere. We want you to be able to come to GreenKonnect for all of your needs.
